Matix’s CSR activities are aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development (UNSDG) goals. Our focus areas and respective initiative is as follows.

Health

Project Dhadkan involves setting up community health clinics in 3 local villages to help predominantly BPL families access free and basic doorstep medical care.

Rural development

Responding to the needs of the panchayat, local community leaders and others, Matix contributes to infrastructural upgradations such as the construction of toilets for hygiene and common infrastructure through various CSR-supported activities.

Education

Mini Science Centres to help children from Class 5-10 in government schools situated in areas populated by low-income communities.

RO water systems

RO water systems has been installed by Matix thereby ensuring continuous access to drinking water.

Livelihood

Project Shakti equips underprivileged with skills and knowledge in sustainable income generating trades, while Project Saksham trains women in animal husbandry.

Soil sustainability

Matix’s Mobile Soil Testing Lab analyses soil samples and provides a soil health card to farmers. This initiative promotes the balanced use of fertilizers to enhance crop quality and quantity.

Mini Science Center

  • Set up in 3 Government schools

    • Kanksa High School
  • 80 tabletop model exhibits with manuals in 3 languages (English, Hindi & Bengali)
  • Aids in foundation-based learning for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics

Livelihood/ Women Empowerment

  • Project Shakti – Income-based skill development training provided to Women Self Help Groups who are being trained in sourcing of the raw materials, marketing and standardization of quality of products for enhanced marketability. The women self help groups are trained on Applique, Advanced Stitching, Kantha Stitch and Batik printing.
  • Project SakshamAnimal Husbandry Training in chicken rearing and duckery to women Self Help Groups which includes knowledge of vaccination, nutrition and timely treatment for reducing mortality and healthy lifespan of the birds.

Health

Project Dhadkan – Access to quality medical services at the doorstep of the villagers

  • Both allopathy and homeopathy medical services are being provided 6 days a week on rotation basis to the 4 villages.
  • Prescribed medicines are provided free of cost to all patients

Rural Development

  • RO enabled water filters & water coolers donated to 6 Government Schools under Kota Gram Panchayat
  • Desk cum Bench donated to 2 Government Schools
  • Construction of toilets for ladies
  • Miscellaneous requests from local Government bodies, Panchayat, and schools, for specific needs are suitably addressed
